British Citizenship
Individuals may normally apply for British citizenship after five years of qualifying residence, or three years if married to a British citizen.
Individuals who have spent more than 90 days out of the UK in the twelve months prior to their application, or more than 450 days in the previous 5 years (270 days for three year applications) may well encounter difficulties with their applications.
Applicants need to prove that their UK tax affairs and N.I. contributions are up to date.
Gross & Co has vast experience in advising clients on British citizenship applications, and on British nationality issues, and our team will be pleased to process your application on your behalf.
