Profile: Nicholas Amor
Nicholas Amor is the managing partner of the firm and head of the employment department. He has a firm grasp of the complex and constantly changing area of employment law. Nicholas is a skilled draftsman of employment contracts, documents, policies and briefings with a renowned attention to detail. He guides employers over the legal hurdles that precede their making redundancies or other changes in the workforce. He represents clients regularly before Employment Tribunals, acting for both employers and employees in wrongful dismissal, unfair dismissal, unfair redundancy, unlawful deductions, Working Time, discrimination and public interest disclosure cases. He enjoys an enviable success rate.
His clients have included the British Government, public and private companies, partnerships and individual employees. He is a founder member of the Employment Lawyers Association.
Nicholas lectures on employment law and also edits the firm's regular Business Newsletter (PDF).
